Comatec’s Christmas donation promotes children and young people’s mental wellbeing

Comatec Christmas donation

Comatec Group will donate the money reserved for partners and employees’ Christmas gifts to charity. This year’s cause was chosen by Comatec employees in a vote. The winner of the vote was MIELI Mental Health Finland. The funds will be used for the organization’s Koululaisen mieli project, which aims to improve the mental wellbeing of children and young people.

The funds will be used for a variety of purposes, such as:

  • hiring online workers for the Sekasin support chat service, making it possible to answer more requests from more young people seeking help.
  • arranging peer support groups for young people to help prevent loneliness, bullying and social exclusion.
  • training professionals who work with children and young people.
  • prepare materials for promoting mental wellbeing.

These and other support measures are effective ways to help children and young people develop the skills needed to overcome crises and safeguard their mental wellbeing throughout life. Developing these skills is essential for preventing loneliness, bullying and exclusion.

We wish warm and happy Christmas time to all your customers and partners!
