Comatec Appoints Erno Tenhunen to Strengthen Marine Growth

Comatec has appointed Erno Tenhunen as Sales Director, Industrial and Marine, and Head of Business Unit Ship Design. The appointment supports Comatec’s strategic focus on customer value, international growth, and advanced engineering capabilities in the maritime sector.

In his new role, Tenhunen will lead sales development across Comatec’s marine customer segments and oversee the Ship Design business unit. His responsibilities include strengthening strategic customer partnerships, expanding international marine engineering and ship design services, and further positioning Comatec as a trusted engineering partner for demanding maritime customers.

Tenhunen brings extensive experience in international maritime technology, global sales, and business leadership. He has held senior commercial and business leadership positions in global marine and industrial technology companies, with responsibility for sales growth, business transformation, profit and loss performance, and strategic development across international markets.
