Comatec implements a long-term plan for growth and internationalization in line with its strategy by expanding the business locally to Sweden. The first office of Comatec Sweden Ab is located in Gothenburg, where Comatec already has an existing customer base. Anders Rohdin, who has a long experience in the development of technology expert services, will start as the company’s CEO.
“Comatec has been exporting to Sweden for a long time and there is a lot of suitable customer base there which we want to serve even better,” says Petri Leino, CEO of Comatec Mobility.
“In an industry where competition is fierce, and we see the local service is a real competitive advantage,” Leino continues.
In particular the electrified transport and construction machinery are sectors of interest to Comatec. In addition, there are many technology customers in Sweden for whom Comatec’s offering and extensive know-how are useful. In fact, many of Comatec’s Finnish customers are Swedish companies and it is possible to find synergies between the two countries.
“I am very grateful for the opportunity given to me to start up the local business and Comatec branch in Sweden, starting in Gothenburg,” says Anders Rohdin.
Comatec Sweden’s main focus initially will be the very busy automotive sector in Gothenburg where a quick transformation to electric and autonomous vehicles are ongoing.
“Fun and challenging assignments and projects in the forefront of technology with world leading customers are available. I look forward to starting something new with a Swedish touch and using the synergies and strong backbone of Comatec both in Finland and the other countries,” Anders Rohdin continues.
Comatec, which operates widely in Finland, already has offices in Estonia, Poland and Romania.
